Statewide Towing Association (STA) at a Glance
What: Statewide Towing Association is considered one of the industry leaders in the United States. Founded in 1970, STA is America’s second oldest towing association. STA represents Massachusetts towing companies involved in all aspects of the towing, transport and storage of motor vehicles.
Who: Our membership is composed towing companies providing a variety of services including commercial, public authority, motor club and private towing, transport and storage. Membership also includes vendors supplying the towing industry.
Why: Working with STA Members, the Media, Public Safety, Governmental, Legislative and Regulatory agencies, STA advocates for its members and the towing industry in Massachusetts. STA provides educational opportunities to our members through seminars, online material and hands on training in partnership with the Statewide towing Academy. STA researches, develops and offers cutting edge benefits to our members in the form of technological tools for business and discounts on services and goods.
